so Rondon is dead again?

I guess its possible. But my guess is Joe was trying to save everyone for Coors Field next.

Yep, especially with another spot start game on Saturday with Montgomery/Cahill.

For someone who has this ridiculous 101-105 MPH heater, Chapman seems to get into a lot of ABs where it takes him forever to put the guy away with a lot of foul offs. Not necessarily complaining, its just something that has surprised me. Edited by UMFan83

Byproduct of having such predictable pitch selection?

This is a matchup you dream about during those cold winter nights. Nieuwenheis vs. Chapman, tying run on deck. Which unstoppable force bends?

it shouldn't

that's kind of the point. guys just do what they can to make contact and pray it drops in safe. these guys can make contact with 105, it's just tough to get good swings

I was thinking that, could be it. Either way, for the most part they are still always late on it, its not like they are putting them in play or even necessarily timing him better.

Just finished a stretch where we had 24 home games and 8 road games (5 of them being in Milwaukee or the Cell). Went 24-8. That's what I call taking advantage of the schedule. Now we finish the season with 25 of our last 38 on the road.
