  1. I do t post much but I am an active clicker/ reader. How do I request access to Social?
  2. With the shortened year last year there is an extreme need for innings. Jake, Hendricks, Davies, Williams and Mills probably shouldn’t be counted on for more than 145-165 innings. Alzolay is still likely in the rotation even after adding Jake. The Miller’s of the world will get their chances with injuries, pitch limits, etc. horsefeathers, Adbert has thrown ~110, ~40, ~80, ~20 innings the last 4 years. If he’s starting every 4-6 days he’s gonna hit an innings limit by July or so. I wonder if the shortened season last year will help some of these veteran pitchers... Meh, probably not.
  3. Surprise, surprise, another game where GB gets BS calls to hand them the w.
  4. Yeah that does make some sense I guess and is a good exercise. It doesn’t seem like there’s a real fit but I’d be down for Happ/Almora (possibly both) for either DeGrom or Snell then add a Dietrich, Jones, etc. This may be a stupid question. Do you do this even if you don’t get one of those players (Dietrich, Jones)? Hypothetically, you play Bote at third and Bryant in Right on days that Baez and Zobrist don’t both play. I could live with that. It helps that Heyward plays a solid center. I say yes
  5. As a non frequent poster, but long time lurker. Cheers and mozel tov to you, Tim. I've followed the core of this team from Low A ball to this moment because of your work. Same here. Thanks Tim and all of the frequent posters who keep me tuned in and jazzed for Cubbie baseball!
  6. I don't think this is a forbidden image, but if it is please take it down
  7. Happy Friday! Cubs come in hot off of a sweep of the Brewers. Rocks have won the last two, but have lost 7 of 10. They are not a good team. We will stomp them with our long dongs. Today is National soft Ice Cream Day http://wp-sa.com/uploads/business/soft-serve-mix-supplier1.jpg
  8. The Cubs go for the four game sweep this afternoon, sending Jake out against impressive youngster Zach Davies. Davies, who has won 4 of his last 5 decisions, will surely experience the dongage and the Cubs will get out the brooms. I love day games, they allow me to be a better husband and father (albeit a worse employee).
