God I'm hungry. Hot ham and cheese is delicious.

Ohhhhhh, how the mighty have fallen.

(And before MR kills me, I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST A HOT HAM AND CHEESE. This dude just keeps mocking us for our food choices)

97% of your food choices are mockery-worthy.

I want to play the Rockies. With the wind blowing out for the 2 games at Wrigley we may break the record for HR in a postseason series. Which will be quite the feat since we will win in 3.

Rockies are not making the playoffs.

Don't front like you're too good for this sea salt potato chip, oven-fried chicken, con queso mac & cheese, scallions and hot sauce burrito. JUST DON'T, OK?

If we have the best record there is a good chance the wildcard winner will be LA or SF ....I live near LA and a 5 game series with them would be fun as long as Kershaw is out...Still wouldnt venture out to Dodger Stadium though...last thing I want to be is surrounded by drunken idiots cheering against the Cubs

I was at Game 5 in Atlanta in 2003 and that was a very very fun night.

Bat v. Pitch is down on BR

I have no purpose in life

Nooooooooooooo, how will I ever enjoy the game without knowing Cliff Pennington's career stats against Jason Hammel?

(kidding, I love and appreciate that you do that every day)

I will have to resort to the old method: Screencapping ESPN.com

Oh god its so painful, they sort by name instead of plate appearances, which isn't even a column.

can we just get the season stats of the likely hitters + starting pitcher rather than that stuff

or am i walking into some sort of unspoken inside joke meme that i dont know about

I'm sure Heyward's sparkling numbers against Nolasco over his career means he's going to put on a glorious display of line shots tonight.

to all the kids keeping score at home, that's "4-3" on your scorecard

nah it's not a joke. i mean he's basically doing the same thing fred used to do except fred was even more extreme with the tiny sample oddities.

Yes.

Maddon tends to play the odds when it comes to career stats vs. a pitcher, i've noticed

(as do most managers) ... So its a good line-up predictor
