Nah, I agree that it's something like brie; you can see the body is differently colored than the edges. Plus I don't think you can get cream cheese to stay that firm.

Well, I've got a new instant soft off thought.

I was thinking brie, for sure. Cant be anything fancier than that right? I mean its being paired with a twinkie.

I can't even tell if the meat is am unappealing-looking burger or Spam or something even more unexpected like liverwurst.

I'm just telling myself its a nicely cut piece of ham.

Burnt/overcooked pasta is....ugh, I just can't deal with it. Something about it makes me just completely retch. God help anyone that serves lasagna and I get stuck with an edge piece.

That's crazy talk, the edge is the best part.

I already have issues with spaghetti's texture, but slimy spaghetti with crunchy toast and melted cheese. There's just no way. Actually makes me think of those horrific new deep fried Cheetos dust covered mac and cheese bites BK is doing. One bite and never ever again.

Yep, there's no telling what that is. Nope, in spite of the delicious bacon and Brie.

To me, crunchy noodles are crunchy noodles; just ruins whatever pasta I'm eating.

See, I love piling spaghetti on crunchy garlic bread with cheese melted on it, but something about this sandwich just seems nasty. It's probably too soft, and the sauce looks like some Chef Boyardee horsefeathers.

I think that's the first time in my life I've heard of somebody being grossed out by spaghetti. What the horsefeathering horsefeathers?

Lots of people are grossed out by the different type of spaghetti noodles. I like the thicker ones, but it seems like plenty of people don't like those because they are "more wet" than the thinner ones tend to be. Personally, I don't like the thinner ones because it seems like they tend to clump together.

It's pretty much exactly like this. I have zero issues with angel hair or really any other kind of pasta. The thick spaghetti noodles just feel slimy and mushy.

i've never really been a big fan of spaghetti. most of the times when i say this out loud whoever is around me tells me i'm crazy and dumb. so i wouldn't be surprised with that kind of reaction here, either. i'd prefer lasagna or even baked ziti in favor of spaghetti 100 times out of 100*

*Except for my friend mike who is italian and made it one time for me with his grandmother's recipe. but it didn't consist of spaghetti noodles (they were a thicker form of ziti noodles iiic. and it came with some delicious but not traditional spaghetti sauce and featured chicken, sausage and some other kind of meat (maybe it was beef in the sauce). TONS of meat that was delicious but i don't know anyone else who would call that or think of that when they think of spaghetti.

i don't think anybody has said anyone is crazy for not being huge on spaghetti. and it's definitely miles behind lasagna.

i just think it's weird to think basic noodles are "gross."

well i've long surrounded myself daily with a bunch of people who i would call assholes. so that could be a part of it.

It doesn't seem that weird; it's a texture thing.
