Early gam; need gam thread now.

“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

The frumious Bandersnatch!”

He took his vorpal sword in hand;

Long time the manxome foe he sought—

So rested he by the Tumtum tree

And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through

The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

He went galumphing back.

I was told to post the game thread if it wasn't up by AM but haven't even gotten to work yet so haven't gotten a chance. May Mojo lead us to glory!

did we just skip SSR's turn entirely?

I sent him a PM about starting the thread after you were done but weis went and did it. He never said anything so I figured he wouldn't care. If he wants his turn next, it's his.

My bad. I looked a while back and just made a mental note to start the thread after David lost since he was just before me.

I thought it was someone else's turn based on Fred's list. Either way, early gam and no gam thread with just over 6 hours to go, so I took decisive action.

Fred's list is a bit out of date. I updated it (and will keep it updated until he returns) on the second page of that thread.

Should be a favorable matchup. I'll take 2 of 3 but man, this would have set up nicely for a sweep if we could've pulled yesterday off.

damn TT.

I updated the subject of that thread to refer to your post. I also put a direct link to it in Fred's original post.

We don't 'need' to win this game more than any other, but I really would like to see a beatdown today. I'm sick of the Mets.
