What is this politics doing in my baseball game? I watch baseball to get away from that tomfoolery!

Well if you really want to you can listen to the ESPN cast, which has them saying brilliant insights like "Maybe Jason Heyward should bunt here"

I would if it wasn't blocked---just to hear Jessica Mendoza.

And since I have PlayStation Vue as my cable service, for some reason they would rather show me a logo that says "Watch ABC7" during ANY live sports feed rather than the actual feed.

horsefeathers whatever red tape caused that.

It's kind of hilarious how awful Montero is at all of the obvious stuff. Fortunately for him, it's 2016 and can make a living off of framing. Like I don't know if he's thrown a ball to 2nd in the air as a Cub. Edited by Gilby

I want Montero to get walked just to see if he can walk a straight line down to first.

Lol I was thinking he did a few bong hits during the rain delay.

Is Kazmir one of those pitchers that gets lit up his second and third time around the order?

Not in his career.

1st time: .712

2nd time: .705

3rd time: .755

This year it seems hitters do worst in their 1st AB and best in their 2nd AB, but it's a small sample size.

I was just thinking how my expectations have changed for Heyward ABs. When the season started I was visualizing doubles and HRs when he came up. Now I'm hoping for a single or a walk. Not that he's not capable of a HR, it's just not among my visualized outcomes when he is up. Edited by UMFan83

He was solidly above average last year without accounting for (elite) pitch framing even slightly.

Yeah, this was one of the biggest cases of recency bias I've seen in a while, and Ski is posting tonight.
