Is the umpire union this strong that CB still has a job?

I really don't see why a group of people who make hundreds of thousands of dollars to work a few hours a day for seven months a year need such a strong union.

Do you not know how unions work? Umpires make all that money for that little work precisely because they have a strong union.

I lol'd. It's not even little work...You've got every Tom, Dick, and Harry hounding you if they recognize you, which is easier than ever, because everyone is an expert these days.

People should wonder why their industry doesn't have a strong union despite all the work they put in...but now I've goofed and gone political.

You think people hound umpires in public?

For some reason, I thought Six Flags only existed in Jackson, NJ. Who knew?

Never heard of Great America?

Jesus, this game is dragging on. Let's get it going.

i'm ok with not having to watch us pitch anytime soon, even if we just spend the whole time fouling off pitches

Sounds familiar...Google has now taught me that there's Six Flags AND Six Flags Great America...that's pretty wild.

Six Flags Over Texas was the original Six Flags.

The "Six Flags" represents the six different nations that have governed Texas.
