Like every Soler K ever, he bears no responsibility. It's the Umpire Conspiracy.
I give Soler another month, tops.

I, uh, are you two actually watching the game? I'd be mad if any of my hitters *didn't* approach that at bat the way Soler did

I can bet that Fowler won't come back out

Surprising. He looked like he was dying out there

yep

only place i can fault him is maybe he could've tried to protect on strike 3 after seeing how it's being called, but i really would rather he just swing at actual strikes i think

I'm watching and didn't have a problem with either of those last two strikes. The last one especially was meat.

You didn't have a problem with a pitch both low and outside being called a strike?

My problem was Jake was getting squeezed in the top half and then all of a sudden Roark gets a big zone.

Strike 3 was high and outside. Maybe you should have your eyes checked.

Big zone? The second K was maybe half an inch off the corner, tops, and the third strike should have zero complaints. I'm also just bored of the excuses for Soler.

I guess I'm just thinking of the Harper at bat.

Any complaints about that one? Same spot as Roark's second strike to Soler.

Of course we're not going to complain about a bad call that goes our way. WTF?

Someone who's never hit in a competitive baseball game would say this.

Strike 1 to Espinosa was the same pitch as ball 1 to Ramos, which should have been strike 3. If he calls that, Roark leads off the third.
