I'm fine with them calling today an "everything's falling the Cubs way" game. 4 of our runs scored on Kalish's bloop hit and Russells ball on the line. Although even still the Cubs influence their luck by getting runners on base early and often, working the count and getting starters out of the game early.

Even if you take those runs away it's 5-4 with the Cubs getting another inning to hit.

5-5 if Rizzo's double doesn't bounce over the wall, Bryant scores there. If we are taking away lucky bounces.

Also true. Fact is cubs had 19 baserunners yesterday. Some of those guys will score on lucky plays from time to time

6 times Zimmerman has made the last out of an inning this series another time he almost bounced into a double play. With Murphy being hot it's almost like screw LRL just put your two best hitters b2b if teams will pitch around Harper.

Not like it'll matter today, though.

What a lame lineup graphic the Nats have.

It's 1000x better tha nthe Cardinals'

Yeah, I don't mind the National's lineup graphic. Its classy-simple whereas the Cardinal's graphic is trashy-simple.

There's that and also batting one of their worst hitters 2nd stubbornly every single day. (You could say the Cubs have done that as well but Heywards skill level is >>>>> Anthony Rendon)

If Federowicz can't pitch frame and he can't hit I'm not really sure why he's a professional baseball player. I can't wait for Tuesday and Montero back.

That ball got me nervous when it looked like all 4 dudes converging didn't now which one would take it, but it was no biggie. Sucks there's a bunch of pitches on Arrieta but it is what it is.
