Who knew Alfredo Simon was garbage?

 

Sad to see Soler swinging at crap pitches again though. His first few games he really looked like he had the eye the scouts said he had.

Soler is a bit of a mystery. When he is patient, he does have a good eye, but when he gets into "I'm going to hit a HR" mode, he gets too aggressive, and pitchers know how to beat him easily. That AB he thought he would get something to crush, and didn't think about anything else, although he did foul off that one really tough breaking ball, which was good.

I have no doubt, once you factor in defense and baserunning. I'm pretty confident Almora is currently better as well.
