holy [expletive]...i have zero recollection of the reds winning 97 games in 2012

Didn't they have a ridiculous year by their rotation that year? Including like Arroyo or Latos or someone?

they were all pretty good. cueto was best.

then they won 90 games in 2013 and lost the wild card game...i did sort of remember that, even though i mostly just remembered the pirates winning part of it.

You don't remember Cueto melting down and giving up blasts to Martin and Byrd?

Out scored them by 24 runs in the series despite losing one of the games by 8 lol

That in itself is an amazing stat.

On that note, been day drinking so too lazy to look up, but the BBTN podcast after Jake's no hitter spells out some pretty amazing stTs on the Cubs' start.

So I'm pretty sure that Rondon's FIP will still be negative.

His FIP and xFIP are both negative now.

Is that good?

I think so. Unfortunately he is under-performing his peripherals with his 0.00 ERA.

The Reds are a respectable if not surprising 9-10 this year. They also own the worst run differential in baseball thanks to the Cubs

To break it down a bit further:

8-4 with a 0 RD against all other teams (they'd be better if St. Louis hadn't crushed them in 1 game).

1-6 with a -40 RD against the Cubs.
