So are we standing pat today? Not that I think there's anything wrong with that, just a little surprised.

I don't think we'll do anything earth shattering at this point. I think we were in on the HIll/Reddick sweepstakes and missed out.

Unless we get a Tampa pitcher or something small then yeah it seems like we are done.

I'd be happy if we nabbed Odorizzi, a little less so if it were Moore. I'd be thrilled if we went huge on a young TOR type, but with market in the state it is in, I'm afraid of what it could cost.

HOLY OVERPAY BATMAN

Yeah, if I'm a brewers fan I am giddy about that.

Keith Law has said all season that the giants do not like bickford and basically think he's seconds away from a serious injury. Something about dramatic loss of fastball velocity etc. obviously the results are still there

I probably just missed it, but did we make a corresponding move after Matusz was released? I know there are plenty of internal options to fill the spot on the 25 man roster, but if they haven't officially announced anything yet, I assume it means they're at least still looking.

Supposedly the Rays are trading Brandon Guyer.

I wouldn't mind if the Cubs reacquired him.

Now that Reddick is off the market, could we have interest in Beltran? He obviously can still hit; not sure where he is defensively these days.

Plug him in the two-hole and the lineup becomes even more of a nigthmare.

It seems like they're exploring deals, but barring one, I'd imagine Grimm will be added to the roster.

Beltran is on his way to Texas, it seems.

Guessing they're holding out on a move incase a last minute deal materializes, assuming nothing happens I'd guess Patton, Concepcion or Pierce Johnson come up for how ever many days until Grimm is eligible to come back up.

Not going to lie, a bit disappointed if nothing happens with teams like the Mets and Giants getting appreciably better today.

What more do you want? We already made our move(s) and are still better

They haven't really gotten that much better. I am not worried about what they have gotten so far.

With the difference making hitters more or less off the market (except Lucroy, who would cost too much in all likelihood), I'd settle for the "6th starter".

The Cubs got appreciably better, they just did it a few days earlier.

Another SP would be nice, though, with Cahill turning back into a pumpkin and Warren gone. We have next to no rotation depth right now.

They're going to have to make a trade for an SP between now and 2017 opening day anyways, was just hoping it would be one we could use in the 2nd half.
