well i ended up biting the bullet and picked up 2 tickets to 4/13 against the Reds. I know its not as sexy as some of you will post, and quite pathetic compared to my output 6-7 years ago, but I'm happy.

3 tickets in section 417 for the Pirates on 6/18. Downside is that we were going with 3 more family members and they're sitting in 425 cuz we couldn't buy 6.

I ordered tickets about three weeks ago (feb 27) and haven't received them. When should I expect them in the mail? We are coming to Chicago from Cincinnati in July and am really hoping they didn't get lost in the mail or something.

And no, we aren't there for a Reds game, and we won't be rooting for the Rangers :)

Just based on past experience, the Cubs seem to mail out the April and May games in March while the summer games tend to be mailed out after the season begins. I wouldn't worry.

Aren't all tickets electronic now?

My group tickets that I purchased back in December for the 5/28 game just arrived over the weekend.

Alright, so I've decided to get a couple of tickets to the 7-5 game at Wrigley. Hendricks is throwing a no hitter that day, so I want to be there and see it in person.

At this late juncture, what are my best options for good priced tickets and what are the best seats for the money? I'm seeing $80 for the seats in sections 110-133. I can probably live with that unless someone suggests better.

I always default to 400 level seats in any value discussion. Great view, out of the sun (great in the summer), and reasonable prices.

Yes, 415-425 are the best seats in the park, take advantage of the poles that block low level suckers and enable the low upper deck.

SeatGeek has 2 seats in 417 for $81 each, you might be able to do better as the game approaches but I don't have a good feel for how the ticket market will be with the Cubs as good as they are.

I've found myself really liking to sit in either section 215 or 216 infield box terrace first 5 or so rows the past few times I've gone to Wrigley.

I needed 3 together, and I got 415 9th row for $57 a piece. I googled the view from 415 and it looked good enough for me. Thanks again!

Any season ticket holders here have 4 tix for either Friday 6/17 or Saturday 6/18 vs. the Pirates? Planning a trip to Chicago that weekend and tix are tough to come by through cubs.com

Screw you guys, I went with StubHub. Got Upper Deck Reserved, 512, Row 2 for about $75/ticket.

Try the actual season ticket holders thread next time if you want to get a hold of the season ticket holders. ;)
