It was a little funny seeing Arsenal having a parade for their EPL title 24 hours after losing to PSG. I get why, that they couldn't do it during the season because it was too close to the UCL final and then a lot of these guys are leaving for the World Cup. So they could really only have it today. But it's still a little awkward.

Sorry guys I usually only follow soccer during the WC. How come Chicago isn't a host site? I saw some blurb from Rahm saying he didn't want the city to foot the enormous bill that the WC brings. Is there more to it? I remember 1994 and it being cool having Soldier Field hosting some games.

That's probably at least part of it.  People in NJ are pissed about how much it's going to cost the area.
