It sounds like it's a very weird structure where nothing actually changes but Spurs have the right to buy him at that price at some point in the future?  Not sure what Betis gets out of this out of being able to keep the hounds at bay for the next few months.

If Johnny builds on last season I think that could end up looking like smart business for Spurs by next summer though.  It's very funny to me that his best statistical comparable on FBRef is Edson Alvarez.

Ok I think Everton is really going down this time. I know it’s only 3 games into the season but Yeesh. Lose the first 2 games 0-3 and 0-4. Today had a 2-0 lead at home in the 87th minute to Bournemouth and managed to lose 3-2, giving up the final goal on the final play of the match. Pain

In other words, they aren't going to be able to expand the Everton Window

Tony meola is a huge fan and has been in contact with him/barca b. He’s our u-20 starter and apparently Barca really love him. Great feet, big frame, and a lot of talent. That’s all I’ve heard.

yea, he was backup when ter stegen was out last year. that's a lot at 18. ter stegen is 32 - not old for a keeper but the timetable might not be unreasonable.

Chelsea will sign the Basque guy.

Anything interesting to know about Kayden Pierre? He just signed for Genk, which I think is a good place for youngsters to develop.

News that made me smile: after a long winless streak San Marino (FIFA rank #210) have finally won a game again (1-0 home win against Liechtenstein). Their goalscorer yesterday wasn't even born when they last won a game.

Alex Morgan announces her retirement from soccer.

It was time. But definitely appreciate what she meant to a large generation of female soccer players.

If we didnt have breathless accounts of Johnny Cardoso and Malik Tillman’s European performances and potential for their clubs, I wouldn’t want them called in. They’ve done absolutely nothing for the national team.

I think she just wanted to brag about having sex

I don't think Alex Morgan ever had any trouble getting sex if she wanted it.
