Miz gave up 2 HR and 5 runs but only 1 earned. We are likely picking up a half game today though.

The throw from 1B... what?

That was my biggest WTF of the video. That throw went midway between 3rd and home.

Saw this on Reddit:

The White Sox and Cardinals both have the same 47-43 record.  The Cardinals are two games out of a playoff spot, the White Sox are currently in line for a bye

The AL is so washed this year, what the horsefeathers

The White Sox hype in the media insane too. You'd think the Cubs weren't even competitive this year, let alone had a better record in a better league.

Cubs have the 5th best record in baseball and 4th best in the NL.  It's crazy.

I think it's fair. The White Sox have been a complete laughing stock for years, everyone loves a comeback story.

Had no idea Cease was absolutely killing it this year and the results actually match the peripherals. I don't suppose the Blue Jays would like to unload that contract on the Cubs.

Cease is a freak of nature, look at the durability. And the average velo keeps going up

Yep. Insane that he almost never misses a start. You just never know sometimes. With his profile you would think hes had multiple TJ.

He has a no-hitter through 8 against the Giants

115 pitches so we’ll see what they do in the 9th.

The Cubs had their chance to sign him, but they made their usual "competitive offer".

I'm knocking another ballpark off the list in a couple of weeks when I head to the Rogers Center to catch a game

Went once, in 2014. Saw Edwin Encarnacion crank 2 homers. Stadium isn't exactly beautiful but it was a fun time. Highlight was two guys bumping into each other near us and getting into a fight over who should have said sorry first. Most Canadian thing I've witnessed.

It's a random Blue Jays vs. White Sox game but I've never been up there. Wife is seeing a concert on Friday night and suggested we see a game the next day. Why not

Fun city. We drove up for the heck of it and spent 3 days there. Across the way from Rogers is an old train terminal that has a brewery in it (Steam Whistle Brewery) for something else to do. I remember liking the Distillery District too (and the Hockey Hall of Fame).
