Peyton Manning got benched for playing like Jamarcus Russell.

That's a weird way to set the all time yards record. 5/20 for 35 and 4 interceptions

What's his face [edit: Al Michaels] just called Arizona "New York" four times in about 30 seconds

edit: 5 times in a minute

7 times in 2 minutes

8 times

Ok, I'm seriously worried that he's got dementia or is super-drunk now.

I was able to watch a lot of the Lions and Packers game alongside the Bears game, and Rodgers looked horrible. He missed his targets by a lot over and over again. And when he did make a decent throw, his receivers dropped the balls or the Lions had good coverage and knocked it away. The Lions also did a great job of preventing Rodgers from running for first downs, especially on the corners.

First Lions win in Lambeau since 1991,which was one year before Favre was QB there.

There is a line of scrimmage graphic line across the field in this Seahawks game. Is this new or have I just never noticed it before?

I think you've just never noticed it before. Not sure every network uses it, but I've seen blue scrimmage lines in NFL games for quite some time now, and not just this year.

Yeah, it's not there for every play, but I've been watching dlinemen poke their heads across that line for a while now wondering why they don't get called for being offside.

That's right. I've been seeing that happening, also. Makes the line judges seem pretty inept at their job of keeping the line of scrimmage clear.

i thought Rodgers looked OK but i'm guessing Davante Adams had money on the Lions; that might have been the most comprehensively terrible WR performance i can recall

what was it, 64 yards on 18 targets and a flat-out drop of the 2-point conversion to force OT?

edit: 79 yards on 21 targets; putrid.

To be fair to Adams, I watched that play and the Lions DB got a hand on the ball. Still could've been caught but it was a great defensive effort as much as anything else.

Adams was dropping balls at an alarming rate, but I have to disagree with Rodgers looking okay. He was throwing screens at the feet of his fullback and overthrowing by several feet numerous times. He was playing very panicky yesterday, and that's just not Rodgers' typical style of play.

Adams was horrific. He's had a couple of games that jump out and make you think he's going to be dynamic, but then he's either completely MIA, or just bad like he was yesterday. He really needed to stop bitching about some of those no calls too. It probably wouldn't have mattered much, but that personal foul that he took which made a 4th and 5 (and a definite go for it situation) into a 4th and 20 had to have been one of the dumber penalties in recent memory.

They're a mess right now. I don't know what McCarthy's waiting for as far as taking back the playcalling duties, but that needs to happen ASAP.

Not that the no call excuses the behavior, but I do think he was interfered with on that play, and I saw a few others I was pretty surprised weren't called.

I caught some of it, and I was most surprised by Rodgers looking inaccurate. I'm not sure there is a complete solution this year but yes, McCarthy should resume calling the plays.

These uniforms in this Titans-Jags game. My god.

I think they could have been a bit more tolerable if they wore white bottoms. But yeah, horrible.
