Lurked here for years and joined in 2008. I've read and laughed at so many of your posts that I feel like I know some of you.

 

Cincinnati born and raised, but I've been a Cubs' fan since the late 80's as WGN was my home after school almost every day. Listened to Harry and Steve (when he wasn't a d-bag) and fell in love with the team. Suffered through Will the Thrill in '89, Agon and Bako blowing it in '03, and the D-backs and Dodgers' Sweeps in '07/'08 (my son was born in 2008 so I mellowed a bit).

 

I've never enjoyed a team more than this one. I love the smiles, the energy, and of course...the dongs. And the fact that they just donged all over the BFIB makes it all the better. Such an emotional night. I only hope my son (also a Cubs' fan in Cincy) realizes how special this is.
