So i try to talk with my very select friends about Maddon - but it's like Apocalypse Now when Sheen first shows up at Kurtz' camp. The hippie lackey tries to explain Kurtz - but words don't work, it's a whole different category of reality with no vocabulary, man, I saw a flamingo at a press conference just yesterday, like, wow. Its just, way beyond.

I think these guys not in the lineup tonight would be a better/more interesting team than those of '11-'13

C - David Ross

1B - Chris Coghlan

2B - Jonathan Herrera

SS - Starlin Castro

3B - Tommy LaStella

LF - Matt Szczur

CF - Austin Jackson

RF - Chris Denorfia

I can't figure out my favorite thing about this pic

- Szczur just sitting there the only one posing for a photo

- Motte looking like he's about to haze Szczur

- Herrera possible wearing a home-made shirt

- Wood looking as hillbilly as possibly

- Bryant leering over everybody

- Fowler taking a picture of the back of Joe's head

- Joe more interested in talking to David Ross than his dog that is sniffing around a freaking cheetah

- there is a cheetah on a baseball field

- Bryant leering over everybody

Definitely Bryant and Schwarber staying as far away as possible with multiple bodies between them and the freaking Cheatah, while still staying in the picture.

Or the awesome dumb dog just sniffing the freaking cheetah 'cause that's what awesome dumb dogs do.

Also Wood looks like he expects the dog to get eaten.

I honestly hope Maddon plays the lineup like he has all year in the playoffs. I don't see any reason to get locked into the same 8 guys every game just because it's the playoffs. Don't do anything different. Granted, he won't have a 40 man roster to play with, but I see no reason not to get guys like Baez, LaStella, Soler, and Jackson in the lineup when the matchup dictates (or frankly if Joe has a hunch) if they are not considered "starters".
