oh for [expletive]'s sake

THEO THIS ISN'T 2012-14 ANYMORE

Oh, thank God I was hoping we'd find another washed up reliever no one else wants to pair with the other washed up reliever no one else wanted. I'm sure Rodney and Soriano will help us win so many games down the stretch. *sigh* :banghead:

i was really hoping that once we got a good FO we'd stop acquiring terrible players

oh well, at least we're not paying him like $6M or something

lol, I was pretty pumped when I saw the title. But I didn't realize he's been terrible this year. Looks like he still throws hard and hasn't lost any velo since last season when he was good (though it is down almost 2 mph from 2013). Maybe he isn't totally done.

Not at all thrilled at this move. It's way too late in the season to see if you can fix him. Maybe he will replace Theo's last failed pen acquisition Tommy Hunter

You mean like Jason Motte?

what do we have to lose? he sucks still, he goes bye bye like soriano. if he's average to good, he's a benefit to the team. We have enough room to experiment a little bit

As long as he doesn't get put into high risk situations, it's just a flyer. He was OK even last year and the velo is still there.

At least it got Schlitter DFA'd.

This. You guys are acting like they swapped Baez for him in a sort of "Anderson-Bagwell" trade for the new millennia.

I agree with your point, but Soriano is probably not gone for good.
