They're about to be 5-8 in a stretch against the White Sox, Braves, Reds, and Phillies. It's not just one bad weekend

Cubs have allowed 39 runs in last seven games (this being be seventh and isn't over yet), including at least five runs in each of the past five.

 

Since we don't have a great offense, that's not a good combo for success.

Enough with the Saber metric crap the cubs te.just hasn't been the same since the white sox series. A slump is a slump a funk is a funk.. getting off to a hot start padding the teams performance is just that. The gas tank is empty .

I don't think I want them to buy. The players who are supposed to be doing well are going to start doing well or they're not. We won't make the playoffs unless they do, regardless of anything else.
