Because we're 2.5 out now and there's only two months left, and we're trending downwards. The Peralta game sucked but I wasn't concerned. Now I'm concerned. I know thsi is meatbally but the EFFORT hasnt seemed to be there lately. So many lazy plays especially from the OF. Saying you don't know why we're so down is kind of being willfully ignorant dont you think? We just got swept by the worst team in baseball and the last two weeks have been super mediocre.

And this team will trend upward and downward again as the next 2 months play out. If this bad play continues and they're not buyers by the deadline then we'll all know it's time to think 2016.

It's 162 games. They have plenty of time to play better ball, especially with a good move or two.

In the long run, this season will help these young guys deal with the pressure of a playoff chase in a big market.....(positive thoughts)

I think getting that playoff experience will help them more than failing in the regular season

Just saying, I don't think there's a positive spin to having these guys fail against bad teams in the regular season.

What was up with Hammel today too? It was obvious something was off 5 minutes into the game. Is he more hurt than he's letting on/we're being told?

I know that after his last start it was said that the leg was still nagging him a bit.
