[expletive] off Wong

I have to keep reminding myself about how he got picked off first to end a World Series game. Makes me feel a little better about that little [expletive].

Jeez its crazy how pitching has dominated. I remember one year Jason Schmidt had an ERA under 3 and I thought that was just sick. Now there are 23 starters with ERAs under 3 and 3 that have ERAs under 2. I mention this because I saw Arrieta's ERA was down to 2.62 and thought that was great, but it would only be 15th in the MLB and 8th in the NL.

The fact that the Cubs have 2 starters with ERAs at 2.89 or lower and neither of them were close enough to making the all star team that they are considered snubs is just insane for someone who grew up in the steroid era.

Arrietta has about 6 plus pitches so it's hard to choose, but I think that cutter s my favorite.

I'll admit that preseason, I thought the 4 WAR projections for him for this season were a bit optimistic.

I'm glad to admit I was wrong about that.
