i actually thought addy might be safe with how long it seemed to take him to get the throw off. was surprised he was out that easily.

Montero hit that off a lefty too. Enough with Ross against lefties.

I'm all for Ross against lefties, he has to play sometimes. Only against lefties though.

It doesn't have to be all the time though. Especially last night when we knew Lester was going the next day. Two days in a row is overkill.

Ross Career vs. LHP .242/.323/.439

Montero Career vs. LHP .234/.299/.354

 

Ross may be old, but his career numbers suggest he hits a bit better than Montero. I think both are good in their own right.
