Is there any reason to go to STL? Thinking about the Blackhawks/Bears weekend in November.

That is what I plan on doing as well. Ive been to STL twice, and both times Ive run into the nicest people you would ever meet and also some of the most vile human beings you would ever meet. No in between. I plan on staying at the Casino that is now open, supposed to be really nice.

Casino you say..., like one of those riverboat ones with only slot machines, or a real one?

Not interested in fake nice midwesterners, I have family.

No it's a real one on land, hotel attached.

the Soulard area is a really cool area with a lot of bars and good places to eat. It's like a 7-10 minute uber/cab ride. Some of the bars also run shuttles from the area to Scottrade so you could jump on one of those there and back. My buddy lives there and we always have a good time in spite of all the other st louis people around

Plenty of nice places to check out in St Louis. Other than the already mentioned Soulard, University City is worth checking out for food/drinks. Apparently the ballpark village is nice though that's new since I last lived there. Avoid "the landing" which is by the river. For good Italian food, visit the Hill.

Other than good/drink wise not sure if you'd be looking to do other things other than the games. Neither stadium is notable, but obviously that's not why you'd be there.

It's technically on a river, per state law. But it's really not. That's way out in Maryland Heights though.

If you want to stay at a casino, I would consider Lumiere downtown. Otherwise, there aren't really any hotels in Soulard, there's a Holiday Inn Express on Jefferson a few miles away but it's a little shady. There are a few hotels over in the Central West End that are decent and there are plenty of cool restaurants and bars to check out there.

So many good restaurants. That's probably the only thing I miss about the place. Well, that and NHL hockey of course.

Rules for Patrick Kane’s New York Parties:

Everyone enters through the garage.

Everyone has to sign a legal document agreeing not to talk about the party or take pics.

Everyone has to surrender their phones at the door.

Have to be invited by a third party to attend. (Kane’s friend)

Someone should Shop the orgy scene from Eyes Wide Shut so everyone is wearing goalie masks.
