Eww. Just because he's here doesn't mean you *have* to give him a start. Is Denorfia not OK?

 

we also did that goofy pinch hit for the pinch hitter thing with him despite the short bench the other night. he must be hurt.

 

theo apparently thinks we get bonus points at the end of the season for every game played with a 24 man roster.

Eh, I'm not stoked to see him either, but a soft-tossing lefty might be the best chance he has to do something.

I honestly watched the Cubs so little over the past few years that I really have no great emotional reaction to the callup of Lake. I didn't watch him enough to like/dislike him.
