Wasn't Castro beating plays like that out by a step and a half when he first got here, or am I nuts?

 

He was definitely safe though

 

ETA: Well he looked safe on the side replay anyway, maybe not

Probably just my bias, but this homestand it seems the close calls have all gone against us. Not saying they're getting them wrong just that they have not been going our way. Edited by Sammy's Boombox

looked clearly out to me and I am pretty sure he's never been faster. He's been "surprisingly" slow the whole time.

Castillo wouldn't have made it to 2nd there if the ball had gone into the seats and Alonso had to fish it out. C'mon Welly

I think he did but by the time he realized he was screwed he knew he wouldn't get back to 1B before the 1B.
