While Cooper may be more NFL-ready, I'm fairly certain White ends up having the better career. A pretty outstanding size, strength, and speed combo there.

I'd be fine with either one at 7 though.

My biggest concern with White is that there's not enough difference in upside between the two. White has a bigger upside, but Cooper's likely to be really, really good too. And that's fine, until you consider the bust factor is quite high for White, while relatively low for the much more polished Cooper.

That said, if the Titans traded down to the lower half of the top 10, I'd be perfectly happy with either WR. My preference is Cooper, though.

Jameis Winston scheduled to meet Bears in Chicago on Wednesday, per league source. Means Bears will have met w/ Winston and Marcus Mariota.

Probably just due diligence.

Pretty sure every top 10 team meets with potential top 10 QBs every year. And there was Jaws yesterday saying Mariota was the pick at #1. It's due diligence, but will be ultimately pointless.

Yea. I've not seen any indication he won't go number 1.

Nah, they can scout his mental weaknesses and attack him with that intelligence on game day.

Or maybe it is pointless.

If Winston is somehow on the board third or fourth overall, the Bears could open trade talks with the Jacksonville Jaguars with running back Matt Forte and the seventh overall pick. Forte is skipping offseason workouts and hopeful of a new deal. The Jaguars need a bell-cow back after kicking the tires on DeMarco Murray in free agency. Chicago could attempt to replace Forte in one of the deepest running back draft pools in at least a decade.

Not that it necessarily means anything at all, but co-owner Darcie Glazer apparently "has reservations" about Winston's off the field antics. Doesn't mean they won't take him first, or that she's even arguing they shouldn't, but it's just enough smoke to get people talking when other rumors (like Jaws') pop up.

Mel Kiper, folks:

In a twist from his latest 2015 NFL Mock Draft 4.0 Insider, Kiper does not project what he thinks teams will do in the "Grade: A" draft, instead he acts as the general manager of all 32 teams and makes picks based on how he sees the draft board unfold in respect to team presently on the clock.

Round 1 (7) WR Breshad Perriman, Central Florida

Would love to trade Forte at age 30 and with all that mileage to get a potential superstar QB. That would be a steal.

7 is way too early for Perriman, IMO. If he is the target then just trade down into the 20's.

If we pick Perriman at all in the first I'm gonna be pissed.

Perriman's dad was a solid WR in the Detroit run-and-shoot offense of the 90s. But yeah, he's not a 1st round talent, let alone top 10. WTF?

Yea but it's Mel Kiper, so... Who cares?

Last week, Mike and Mike revealed that Mel Kiper eats a piece of pumpkin pie with whip cream every single day...for breakfast. Apparently he's a really weird and quirky dude (surprise!).

Between the Dracula haircut and the breakfast pumpkin pie, I am a pretty big Kiper fan.

Haha wow thats pretty weird.

I can just see him there in a robe, hair still in the same place as it was when he went to bed... Chowing down on pie.. Alone...

I was wondering whether they are related.

He's saying Pace is stupid. He put himself in the mind of each GM for this mock. And when he does that with Pace, he comes up with a stupid pick.
