His fifth, and presumably last (start, not necessarily season), in Chicago.

Slow down there, Moon. There's a reason that Jay is still here. There was no other options. Until there are, Jay isn't going anywhere.

If another coach gets fired (which is pretty much what it would take for Jay to have another "start"), I have a hard time seeing Cutler surviving that. Especially once the contract is less of an issue.

Well if Gase and the Offense are successful this year there's a really good chance Jay has a new OC again next year...

My brain skipped the part in parenthesis.

isn't he saying it's his 5th "fresh start" with a new system? It will be his 7th season, and as he noted, not necessarily the last.

It would just be our luck for Gase to be the guy who finally gets Jay to put it all together and then he gets hired away as a HC.

It appears we will soon have another unimmunized child in the world.

The Bears waived Khaseem Greene.

I didn't expect him to make the 53 man, but not even good enough to make the top 90 is pretty bad.

Well if there was one thing that would ruin my excitement for this hire, that's it.

Ok, confession. I actually haven't seem it as an adult but loved it as a kid- I'm just assuming I'd hate it now.

That is a much needed upgrade.

So much better. Those video boards were really outdated and [expletive]

Yes, now 1 of the roughly 500 problems with Soldier Field is fixed. That place is a complete dumpster fire. You'd have to pay me to attend another event there. Everything about it sucks. Parking, distance to public transit, flow, concourses, BATHROOMS, lack of foresight in planning for a dome/additional capacity to have other events there (Super Bowl, Final Four, CFB/B1G playoffs), etc. That is the biggest boondoggle in Chicago sports stadium history. It makes the Cell look like Camden Yards.

The Stadium Series game there last year was the worst. People were literally pissing in the concourses DURING PLAY, not intermission, due to the lack of bathrooms. In a 12 year old stadium. What a piece of [expletive]. [expletive] you Mayor Daley.

I'd rather have the Bears play in Schaumburg or Gary, IN than Soldier Field. /Rant Over
