Duke-Pitt is pretty entertaining. That felt weird typing.

Jamison Crowder (Duke QB) is entertaining to watch and James Connor (Pitt RB) is really, really good.

Crowder is a WR

Sumlin walked into the perfect situation and won the lottery his first year, NFL quality offensive line and a Heisman trophy winner. His biggest mistake was not cashing in on the NFL when he had the chance.

Another of my nephews plays for ULM. 8 catches for 88 yards today and an 8 yard pass.

A&M is not a good football team right now. Very disappointing. The pathetic OL play is most disturbing. That was not expected at all. Defensive struggles are not a big surprise but I still anticipated better play from them. I sure hope we can hold onto our great recruiting class at this point.

I think you will but if Mack and Murray bail it will be interesting. Malik Jefferson won't be going to A&M which will impact Mack. Plus Mack is a front running diva. Murray is awesome, could to where he goes in the 1st round of the MLB draft.

SEC East about to be out of the playoffs.

Florida's not even trying to throw the ball (6 attenpts) and Georgia still can't stop them.

I'm not making a shocking announcement, but none deserved to anyway - the east is awful.

While I hate seeing Florida win, it does make things slightly more likely that Muschamp keeps his job and that's a good thing since he's awful.

it might've saved Muschamp's season, but he's not going to be around after this year. 0% chance.

He'd pretty much have to win out or almost win out to have a shot. I can't imagine they'd keep him, but I've heard that Foley really likes Muschamp and wants to keep him if he can.

So what's the best case scenario tonight for NOT having two SEC teams in the playoff? Auburn beats Ole Miss, then Alabama beats Auburn and Ole Miss beats MSST?

All these things, plus Miss St or LSU needs to beat Alabama, and it would help if Missouri beat the SEC West champ in Atlanta as well.

Navy game feels meaningless. Nothing ND does will change the fact that the Big 12 champ looks mostly assured of a playoff spot after TCU won today, nor will it change the fact that Stanford's gonna lose its fourth game tonight.

Miss St. has to win out, for one. That means wins over Bama and Ole Miss, leaving those two with at least two losses. Georgia beats Auburn but Missouri wins out to keep Georgia out of the SEC title game. Only way Georgia has a chance of getting in is by beating Auburn and the SEC West champ.

So if the following happens (and no other upsets):

Miss St beats Bama and Ole Miss

Ole Miss loses to Auburn and Miss St.

Bama loses to LSU and Miss St. but beats Auburn

Auburn beats Ole Miss but loses to Georgia and Bama

LSU beats Bama

You'd have

Miss St. 12-0, LSU 10-2, Ole Miss, Auburn and Bama at 9-3. LSU only has the Bama game to jump up (under this scenario they don't make the SEC title game) and they're at No. 19 now. Then you'd need a one-loss team from the other major conferences (so Oregon, MSU/OSU, KSt/Baylor/TCU and Notre Dame) so you'd end up with Miss St, Florida State and two one-loss teams.

Geez, raw. You have athletic genes in your family.

Ole Miss made a 47-yard FG. That's the same distance that Freeze passed on the kick at the end of last week's game.

Mostly skipped a generation unfortunately for me. But I have a brother that played on Cincinnati Bearcats final four team with Van Exel and Corie Blount. His son is a freshman on a basketball scholarship at Urbana U, but will be a D1 transfer. Have 3 other college aged nephews playing football. One D1 for ULM. One for FCS SIU, but he will be drafted next year. Another playing D3, but he was on scholarship at Oklahoma until he blew that with grades. Had 2 uncles and a much older cousin be all state basketball players in Indiana, one of which went pro in Greece. I also have a niece that's a contender for all state in HS basketball. And a 6' tall 13-year old nephew who's dad is in the NFL. And my soon to be 5-year old son is ridiculously good at basketball for his age (can maintain a dribble and make baskets on a full size rim with a girl's ball or from about 10-12 feet with a kids size ball).

Sorry for the not so humble bragging. If it makes people feel any better, I sucked in high school at baseball and was just a mediocre football player. I did make IU's team as a walk-on but quit while like 6th on the depth chart at OLB. Lol

So how will the Hogs break my heart this week? Another tripping penalty on the clinching TD? Another missed PAT?
