Fun fact, other than the Royals, STL has easily the worst 1st/2nd/3rd-order win percentages of any team in the playoffs.

I don't even watch their games. I still get angry when they win, but at least it's just for that few moments and not for 3 hours or whatever.

I meant to mention this before, but I was listening to a portion of the Pirates game Saturday and watched a portion Sunday. Both the radio and TV announcers were discussing whether or not Josh Harrison should have been sitting out the last series of the season to win the NL batting crown. Why that would even be an option when you are trying to win a division...

The only thing worse than St. Louis being in the playoffs was when I lived in St. Louis and the were in the playoffs.

 

Living in St. Louis will make anything and everything about a person's life worse.

Similarly, I'd be happy with one of the A's or O's vs. Bucs or Nats, regardless of final matchup.

 

But I'm pulling all the way for the A's.

Why are people rooting for the Pirates? Sure I'd rather them win than the Cardinals and Dodgers but they are division rivals who beat us annoyingly too frequently. Last year it was cute to see them in the playoffs after a long absence but this year they might as well be the Brewers or Reds to me.
