Man I hate when Javy takes a called strike 1....based on no evidence, but it always seems like he swings wildly at whatever comes next, as if to make up for taking a hitable pitch.

He commonly takes a big fat strike one straight down the middle.

With the Mets and Reds playing each other, no matter what we'll be 1.5 games out of non-protected status at the end of the day.

2.5, unless SD loses, since the Cubs would have to pass two of those three to get to 11th.
