Hate seeing him likely miss the rest of the season, but great bounce back year from him. Just get him and Rizzo healthy for next year, they both had great seasons.

No ligament damage for Castro, high ankle sprain, receiving treatment now. Camp Buss a strong possibility this winter.

Couldn't they put someone else in CF and play Alcantara at 2nd? I'm not sure if that would net an offensive gain or not but I liked Alcantara's defense at 2nd a lot. I guess he needs the reps in CF to prep for next year. Maybe he'll get an occasional game at 2nd here and there for the rest of the month.

I'm not sure either option is better though it may make sense to split Alcantaras reps just to give him time at both.

Well damn. The replay looked very bad, but when I heard he wanted to stay in the game, I figured we'd see him by next week. You have to be pleased with a .341 wOBA out of him.

I'm planning on slapping a long-term keeper on him in my league this off-season, so it'd be nice if he'd hit a few more dongs between now and then to make me more confident about it.
