I saw Sammy's 600th live, that was cool, even if he was a ranger at the time.

I was there as well.

I want to like the rangers. Great ballpark. Just can't make myself be a fan

Why is it impossible to find video of that Milwaukee walkoff on the internet??

This video at least has the White Sox one, which I think was in 08...

ETA: He's had... a lot http://m.mlb.com/video/search?query=aramis+walk+off

Thank you. Like David, I was looking all over for this about a month ago or so and never found it. That was a great moment. I wasn't able to watch it live, but remember listening to Pat and Ron.

I guess I should have started posting on here earlier, and I would have had the video in an instant.

If Javy is now declared Hulk, that would make Bryant Colossus and Soler Black Goliath

One of the greatest sports days of my life came on April 18th, 2009, where I was at a bar to watch Derrick Rose's first playoff game (OT over Boston), then roof tops to watch Aramis walk off versus the Cardinals, and finishing it with a Blackhawks playoff victory that night.

Until today, when Javy made me late to my softball game just so I could watch his finally AB; and he totally made it worth it.

I'm not posting it, but I saw a CSN article yesterday or today that was complaining about all the hype Javy was getting when Abreu is the best player in town.

Watching Baez's swing in slow motion makes my back hurt.

His leg kick is probably just a little too high. Calming that down a bit should help his back. I know he's had back issues in the past, so this could be potentially worrisome.

No. Nothing about him so far is worrisome. Nothing.

Javy hits three homers over his first three games, and you [expletive] are talking about other stuff in this thread for three pages?

Exactly. :clapping:

I went to Prior's debut, and more importantly, THIS GAME:

The two greatest moments in cubs history, in one game.

still great to see that my baseball tonight vhs recording from 2001 is still making the rounds on the internet.

that's the loudest i've ever heard wrigley in person. what a great ending!

Mostly only one guy being unreasonable, but complete with some utility infielder predictions, awful makeup proclamations, "he dogs it too much" inferences, and someone randomly saying his career minor league average is .250.

edit: another

this stuff is good. I just read the comment where he said his average in the minors for his career was .250 (actually .278) and OBP was .300 (actually .336).

Also no one mentions that he was one of if not the youngest player in all of those leagues and is now the youngest player in the major leagues.
