I have no evidence to back it up, but I feel like Javy hits a HR in a lot of his first ABs at a level. So I'm going to go with 1-14 with a HR in his first at bat for the first series. But sooner than it took him at AAA he will go Javy being Javy on the ball. Edited by Brian

I presume he'll be at second base

Depends, now that we have middle infield jam at the MLB level we may trade Castro

The Mets have already offered Bartolo Colon for him.

Colon offered himself after he heard there was jam in the middle infield.

For next year, I would go with:

Alcantara

Soler

Rizzo

Bryant

Castro

Coghlan/Ruggiano

Baez

Castillo

I can't stop giggling.

Hell just having Rizzo, Castro, Baez, and Mendy in the same lineup has me giggling like an idiot.

Can we all form a pact or something not to freak out when he strikes out like 33-35% of the time during the rest of the season?

34% is probably the o/u. if he's right there, i'll be cool.

Wonder where he hits in the lineup? I'd go with 6th.

LF- Coghlan

CF- Alcantara

1B- Rizzo

SS- Castro

3B- Valbuena

2B- Baez

RF- Schierholz

C- Castillo

I'd be totally fine with that. If he got under 30% I'd probably quit wearing pants.

Anything under 40 would make me happy, tbh.

Yeah, I was going to say if he stays under 40% the rest of the year I won't be overly worried. If he stays in the low-mid 30s I actually would be pretty impressed/excited.

I won't freak out as much as I did when he was struggling at AAA. I fully expect a very rough month or two.
