Would it be out of the question to see Russell get bumped up to AAA yet this year? Especially if/once Baez gets promoted?

I think it would be insane.

There were people who thought he would start this year in MLB. It's not THAT crazy to get him to AAA.

I don't think it will happen, though.

Seriously? He turned 20 in January.

It's hardly unheard of or close to insane.

Law said he believed he could start the year in MLB, I think a lot of the other prospect guys thought he at least could get there this year.

Law and Parks have mentioned he could play in the bigs now.

Wouldn't be the best thing for him (just like Castro getting called up when he did wasn't the best thing for him) but I think he has a better at bats/game plan than Castro at the same age and could definitely have some success.

Glad Soler is playing both games of the doubleheader (though I guess he might have been scheduled to have game two off but the ejection in game one changed things).

Hannemann now 3 for 4 with that HR, his Daytona OPS is 1.005.

Future Red Sox Marco Hernandez is 3 for 3 with a walk and a SB

Schwarber is 1 for 2 with a walk and a sac fly

Vogelbach is 0 for 2 with 2 walks

McKinney is 1 for 2 with a sac fly

And at Tennessee, Almora is 2 for 3 with that HR and an OF assist, Russell is 2 for 3, and Bruno is also 2 for 3 and has a double.

Almora has more HRs in the last month than I expected him to get in like two years.

You have to consider calling up McKinney to AA soon, right? He's raking.

he's really young for where he is anyway

In fairness, his season will probably end in a week once hurricane season kicks into gear. Calling him up now wouldn't be the worst idea.
