In game one Renteria leaves in Coglan and Sweeney to face a lefty with the bases loaded and one out in the 7th. In game two, he pinch hits for Olt in a tie game leading off the ninth. Seems inconsistent to me.

Well, see, Mike Olt is superterrible and the other two are just regular bad.

Of course. [expletive] you Hamilton.

Yeah I really am gonna hate him for a long, long time. I would hope that he blows out his knees but the Reds are gonna be a middling team forever so no need to hope he gives them better draft position.

Blah. Was hoping the team would keep me somewhat interested after the trade. Oh well another loss gets us closer to the next Schwarber, Bryant, Baez

Anybody here good at photoshop? I want to make Brennaman think Hamilton is banging his wife and push them into a murder-suicide situation.

But at least Olt might swing where the pitcher throws it.

Meanwhile, the tanking of the second half is off to a flying start.

Six Cubs pitched in this game and each one gave up exactly one run. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
