He'll move to AAA at some point this summer.

He also just hit a home run.

EDIT: He's currently hitting .344/.433/.642/1.075 in 201 PA

Does Bryant stay in AA all season or does he get a bump to AAA later in the summer (assuming he continues hitting like he has)?

They'll coincide it with at least attempting to keep to the "500 AAA AB" rule. Also known as "The gain an extra year of control"rule.

Jeimer HR too.

Peralta working mid-90s (T96) in his spot start.

Tennessee started some pitcher I didn't know was part of the organization. Did they sign him out of an Indy League, to help roster-fill with Pierce, Edwards, and Pineyro all injured, and Daytona having no pitching to call up?

If Bryant does indeed get called up, is he even going to play 3B? Villanueva isn't exactly a trash prospect and unlike Bryant he's a lock to stick at 3B. Do they factor that in or just demote him for the sake of Bryant?

Bryant goes wherever is best for Bryant, whether it be 3b or if they want him to be ready for a quick transition to the majors maybe OF.

But a prospect like Villanueva does not influence in the decision on a prospect like Bryant. Also he should carry Bryant's bags and not look him directly in the eye.

Yeah, Villanueva was a nice prospect coming into this year, but he has been complete garbage so far, along with pretty much every other Cubs prospect not named Bryant or Bruno.

I'm sanguine about Villanueva and I agree he shouldn't impact the decisions for an elite guy like Bryant, but he's a solid B prospect and to say he's been "complete garbage" is nonsense. He's OPS-ing .700 in his first month in AAA as a 22 year-old, and playing his usual excellent 3B. He's been remarkably consistent throughout his minor league career and he'll likely end up right where he usually is by the end of the season - in the high .700s, with 12-18 HRs and a ton of doubles. He's not an elite guy but he's not garbage by any means.

Just like the potential concern with Olt from before the season, Iowa has no real prospect at 1B, and they may try to get Bryant some OF time as well. They can coexist on the same roster.

He rolled his ankle right before his last turn in the rotation.
