Ryan, do I get credit for saving Zaztrysny's life now?

Daytona News-Journal[/url]"]Pitcher Rob Zastryzny and the Daytona Cubs got some good news after the southpaw had X-rays done on his left arm late Wednesday night.

No damage was done when a screaming liner off the bat of Michael Reed hit Zastryzny (1-3) on the back of his left forearm, just inches below his elbow, in a 5-1 home loss to Brevard County.

“It’s just a bruise,” manager Dave Keller said Thursday afternoon. “It’s the best-case scenario out of the whole thing. He was getting treatment about an hour ago. He should be throwing (on the side Friday) or (Saturday).”

The 2013 second-round draft choice who signed with the Chicago Cubs for $1.1 million may not miss a start because the Florida State League is off on Sunday, and that will give him an extra day to bounce back, Keller said.

Yeah and the black knight just had a flesh wound.

at this point there's probably somebody worthy of a 10th spot on an organizational top 10 in there

Gleyber Torres is probably in my midseason top 10. If not, he'll barely miss.

He's at EXST, right?

I can totally buy it, but I have trouble pulling the trigger on a guy until he's played in a real league.

I don't blame you but there's a lot of flux at the back end of the top 10.
