He was a Ranger until this season and was under consideration as the PTBNL, which ultimately became Ramirez. He's been in his teams top 30 multiple times. 6 year minor league FA, just turned 24. Chose us mainly because we had shown interest in him prior. Is still a prospect, not just fodder.

I think I read in his last start he was working 88-89 mostly? Am I misremembering, or is feasible?

I guess it's possible. I remember reading he was a 91-92 guy, topping out 93, 94 on a good day.

He was 90-92 last time out according to the Des Moines Register I-Cubs beat writer.

.@albertalmora battled a nose bleed during his AB in the 5th but had to exit after it would not stop bleeding. Zapata in at CF. 1-0 Dun B5

CJ gives up another run, Inf hit then he stole 2nd then there was a blooper that allowed him to score. He's not doing much to hold runners close. Then another runner scores from 3rd on a grounder to the SS. Ball not really being hit hard... but bad results

Umm...

@MRubio52: So far as I can tell it is the bloody nose/wooziness he was dealing with earlier that was tweeted out by a few.
