Seems like really good performances from most of the key minor leaguers outside of injuries. Keep 'em coming!

RHP Josh Conway (2013 elbow stress fracture) threw another 25-pitch "live" BP session prior to the game, facing Jorge Soler (hamstring rehab), Elliot Soto (serving a 50-game Drug of Abuse suspension), Eloy Jimenez, and Erick Castillo. Conway sailed through his "inning," but Soler grabbed his right upper hamstring after only two AB in his first round and left the cage. He did eventually return for one five-pitch round, however, facing 19-year old Venezuelan RHP Adbert Alzolay (the other pitcher who threw a "live" BP session prior to the game).

Ummmmmmm...[expletive]

Considering he went back and it's AZ Phil I'm gonna just assume he had to take a piss or something.

Could have just been a cramp, I've had some hideous hamstring cramps...

I love what Almora is doing in his first go around with Daytona, but even with an amazing 1K in 36 ABs the fact that he hasn't walked scares me. Granted he doesn't seem to be all that challenged so far.

Vogelbach is doing nothing. .421 OPS going into tonight, and he's hit a HR and walked a couple times.

AZ Phil can't scout but he definitely can observe and type down what's happening.

Are Josh Vitters early success and Brett Jackson's eminent demise considered noteworthy anymore?

Either you have no idea what eminent means or you just answered the second half of your own question.

And no, none of it is noteworthy. No one is going to pay any mind to Vitters unless he shows that he can field at all and hit at the next level (except for Kyle), and Jackson has been residing in the toilet for a while.
