sure am glad self picked saturday as the day he decided he was going to teach cliff alexander a lesson. yikes.

He looked lost vs ISU. Can't guard those perimeter bigs. Hopefully it's clicking for him. He needs to have Oubre-like development ASAP for us.

I agree he didn't look great, but i'd take my chances on him figuring it out over the course of the game vs playing that doughy dunk receptacle lucas.

lol, I agree 1000 percent. Lucas is not good. Maybe he'll be useful as someone to try and lean on that fat center from Texas, but otherwise he's slow, he has stone hands, and he has the reflexes of an elderly person who just suffered a stroke.

Pretty sure Illinois is going to shoot 50% + from three tonight. Purdue likes to leave three point shooters wide open.

wow, in addition to being terrible at basketball, adam woodbury is a real piece of [expletive].

he's got some three stooges moves

You'll beat us by 6-8. But, men's golf starts soon.

It's all going to come down to whether or not Illinois hits the wide open three's. If you hit a good share of them you'll win.

Aaron Cosby out for two weeks. That's a third starter. Athough Csby has sucked so far this year.

It's working, it just craps out every time it goes to commercial.

Hell of an end to the first half. They need to play faster all the time. Gives them less time to think about it and screw things up.

Leron Black is gonna be fun to watch the next few years. All kinds of energy. If he can develop a 15 footer, he'll be a really good player.

Illinois whole offense was shitty long 2-point jumpers and Purdue fouled the [expletive] out of them. Fantastic free throw shooting by Illinois cant argue that.

Yeah, those fouls on Nunn when he was shooting jumpers are just inexcusable. 21-24 from the line is crazy good though.

You guys even had a guard on Hammons the last 5-6 minutes and we did nothing with it. If you guys can get healthy that free throw shooting is [expletive] amazing. Could make a nice run.

Also, if Purdue didn't luck into Jon Octeus we would be under .500 right now. Painter has to feel the heat at some point right? Missing the tournament four years in a row?

He's not really a guard and has been playing the 4 all year. He's 6'7" and not small, but point taken. He was getting a lot of help and Hammons wasn't getting any help from the guards who should have cleared out the back side and thrown lobs over the top.

Also, your 20% 3 point shooter knocking down 3 of them was a bit of a factor as well.

And Depaul beats a ranked team (Seton Hall) on the freaking road. First win over a ranked team in 7 years and first road win over a ranked team in 10 years.

Really wish they didn't lose to Loyola Marymount, Lehigh, Illinois State and Ohio

Now 5-2 and tied for first in the Big East. Wtf
