I mean it's hard to knock a kid for going to the #1 team and possibly playing on a national champion next year but good luck getting consistent minutes. Decent chance he gets recruited over in '15 and/or '16 also.

Ulis will get time, Im looking forward to them going small with him and twins on the court. Not to sound like Hawk Harrelson but Ulis might be the quickest since Rose or maybe even Iverson.

 

They have matchup nightmares with 4 big men and those 3 all seeing minutes. Add Lyle, Booker, and Toens and they're 10 deep. The reserve 5 could defeat most schools.

Also the thought of Aa. Harrison, An. Harrison, Poythress, Johnson, and WCS as the vet size lineup is intriguing too.

Marcus Lee, who is probably one of the 30 most talented players in the country, will again see about six minutes per game. Going to Kentucky has done wonders for his future earnings potential.

weren't you in the NIT last year? Lets be honest you came this close to losing 3 games before you made the final 4. If you would have lost any of those the whole feel about KU would be a lot different right now.

Correct, one year after winning the title, they lost in the 1st round of the NIT.

 

They should've lost to UM but they lost to a better team in UConn. Look at UK under Calipari and it's been fair to say, they have been an annual contender. One disappointing season doesn't change that.

I know he's really good, I wish Groce would have offered right away. Hope he doesn't make the same mistake with Pipkins, but that said he's so small and cal kills it in recruiting.

Could have secured an early commitment. I am not sure it would have mattered, but we have been pretty successful offering kids early in the state.
