Why isn't Penn State ranked? Aren't they 5-0?

I'm hoping for 5 wins total at this point.

if both Georgia's RBs are out I like to think Mizzou can at least hang around a bit

Don't know about Gurley's status but yikes:

@slmandel: Mark Richt: Georgia WR Justin Scott Wesley and RB Keith Marshall both out for the season.

Don't [expletive] with Tennessee. They ended Marcus Lattimore's season last year.

Gurley wasn't seriously hurt. He should play this week. He probably would have yesterday had it been a big game.

Which nearly cost them.

Yeah, if it were a "break glass in case of emergency" thing with Gurley, they probably would have dressed him, and they probably would have played him after the game went down to the wire/OT after Marshall tore his ACL in the 1st quarter. I do expect him to play this week though, and the 3rd string back was successful enough that I didn't have hopes of Georgia's rushing game disappearing in any case.

From Mizzou's end, I hope they can keep the offense running efficiently enough to keep the game close enough to make an upset possible if some turnover/special teams weirdness happens. All the injuries don't hurt either. Will be nice to have a "nothing to lose" game that actually has the team healthy for once.

I knew Lane Kiffin was a douche but I had no idea he was that bad. I almost feel bad for Tennessee. Almost.

http://www.aolnews.com/2010/01/12/volunteer-sources-say-kiffin-never-embraced-tennessee/

But everything wasn't bad at Tennessee. For instance, there was Lane's dad, Monte, the team's defensive coordinator. "Monte was loved by everyone," says McNeil. "He was a great guy, a great football coach, but a better guy."

McNeil pauses for a moment, thinks.

"He and Lane had absolutely nothing in common."

Richt just said Gurley is doubtful against Mizzou.

Wisconsin is a 10.5 point home dog this weekend against Northwestern, and that seems a bit excessive to me. I'm figuring this is going to be a closer game than that.

I've got end-zone seats for this one. Going to be fun. I'm slightly torn -- root for both of them.

Wisconsin isn't a 10.5 dog, they are favored

Looking forward to seeing Manziel in person again this weekend.

There will probably be 90 total points scored in this game. A&M's defense sucks balls but they just outscore people.

Right! My bad! Seems like too large a spread to me.

Alabama's defense has given up a total of 7 TD's through 5 games so far this season. 6 of those were to A&M. That is crazy.

Yeah, pretty heroic of them to keep Colorado State and Georgia State out of the end zone.

How convenient of you to leave off Ole Miss & Virginia Tech.

Apparently you didn't get the memo about trashing the SEC no matter what.
