I really don't know what to make of Freeman as a Vikings fan. I didn't like him as a prospect, then he looked great. Then he looked bad. Not sure what caused the massive regression other than Schiano.

 

He's more talented than Ponder but I like Christian more.

I agree. Although I'd probably say that the straightest line between the point where he was forced out and back into the field of play might have to be included in that rule somehow, or within reason.

Not only is it a horrible call to go for it there when a FG makes it a one-score game, but you run freakin' Quizz Rodgers instead of Snelling needing one yard?

Mike Smith has made the stupid decision to go for it on 4th down and goal for 2 straight weeks, and both times he's failed. He has a terrible O-line and is missing Stephen Jackson yet he decides to run 190 lb Rodgers up the middle. Boos rain down. Wishful thinking of course, but if this continues to go south for ATL I could see this turning into a train wreck. When guys like Roddy White are your "leaders" this might go badly.
