The Bum must be gripping his bowl of chili rather tightly right now.

I think many people overestimated the ability of Colin Kaepernick.

So yeah, does Kaepernick actually just suck? I know there's not much on that team, but man, 11-24 against Indy.

Should probably table the NFC dominance talk for awhile

wow. Miami, Pats, Colts, Browns, Bengals, Chiefs. Aside from the Seahawks and potentially the Bears, slaughter.

49ers, Falcons, Packers, Vikings all NFC playoff teams to lose.

Good question. It's one thing to lay a turd at Seattle, but against a mediocre Colts team that couldn't stop Terrelle Pryor? That's cause for concern.

Did Buffalo's QB just take a knee instead of spiking it with zero seconds left?

I think he knew time had run out and didn't want to get hit.

I'm shocked at how well the AFC is doing so far. I don't expect them to keep dominating all year (in fact I still think the NFC is a little better), but it looks probable they'll at least finish .500 against the NFC now, and even that would have been a big surprise before the season.

To look at it division by division (assuming the Bears win tonight):

AFC East 4 NFC South 0

AFC North 2 NFC North 2

AFC South 1 NFC West 1

AFC West 4 NFC East 0

Were his good games just some bizarre illusion, then?

Hell I don't know. He's [expletive] horrible at the moment.

Saints are still dangerous. Defense is improved this year. I think they'll make the playoffs.

i kind of skimmed through it, but PFF was talking about how he SHREDS the blitz and Seattle knew this and rushed 4 most of their game; i didn't really watch enough of today's game to see if Indy did that too

also, they have pretty putrid receivers after Crabtree, Manningham, V Davis (all out today)

edit: looking at the box score, Bradshaw with 5 YPC and TRich with just 2.7 YPC (long of 7! on 13 carries)...does TRich actually just suck?

it seems like Julius Peppers would be a beastly goal-line TE like Vrabel used to do

Carolina used to split him out wide sometimes in the red zone, though I don't think he ever actually caught a pass.
