Looks like Manziel will be suspended for the first half of the Rice game this Saturday under the by law that states you shouldn't knowingly sign autographs for someone that will profit off of them even if you don't, or whatever [expletive] it says. I guess everyone is agreeing to it to let the NCAA save at least a little bit of face and to also get them off Johnny's back.

I realize that only getting a 1/2 game suspension in a game Johnny was probably only going to play one half anyway is a great deal in exchange for the NCAA going away.

I'm straight up terrified about tomorrow's game against Vandy. They have Ole Miss' number lately, winning 6 of 8, usually in 4th quarter comebacks.

 

Last year the Rebels put up 458 yards on Vandy but ended up losing by a point on a literal last minute touchdown pass. Anyways, I'm expecting to lose this one.

The NCAA is so inconsistent. Manziel commits a known violation (even though I don't think it should be is irrelevant) and gets 1/2 game while Dez lies about a non-violation and gets a whole season.

I can't wait for this game and honestly have no idea who wins. I'm kind of leaning Vandy, but that is strictly going with a gut feeling. I do know that whoever does win is set up for a really nice season and maybe knocking on the door to the Top 25. As to Vandy winning 6 of the last 8, I think your old "coach" had a bit to do with those 4th quarter losses. It's his specialty.

No kidding. Wish Freeze had had those 2008-09 Rebel teams. A buffoon like Nutt won 18 games in those two years. Makes me ill to think what a competent coach would have done with that talent.
