Really annoyed that they stupidly let Harvey hit for himself and they still get a run by doing nothing but hit a groundball at a hole.

Buck flied out to deep right field

Ankiel doubled to right field

Tejada flied out to left field

Harvey singled to left field , Ankiel scored, Harvey to second on a throwing error, E7

Russell in to pitch for the CUBS

Byrd, pinch hitting for Valdespin, flied out to left field

Jeez...a good throw might have nailed him.

 

I think that same throw on target still misses him, that "good throw" would have had to have been much harder.

I agree. BTW, who the heck is Henry Melton?

Sveum's need to use Russell in two-out situations befuddles me.

Pretty heavy dose of WTP today.

 

Yep. While Murphy's garbage liner finds the basket... typical.

 

Castillo's in the 2nd was probably 2 inches from the edge of the basket.
