The poster pic thread is both the greatest and scariest thing ever.

I love it. The stripper autographed photo might have won the Internet.

*google's AIM*

*finds out it still exists*

*flabbergasted*

We used to have NSBB AIM chat rooms for Cubs games.

I miss those days.

Remember the flashchat days when we'd all sit around and tell sex stories and piss off all the women? There was someone that was a red sox/cubs fan and I remember drawing her ire repeatedly.

zz thorn was the OG of creepy stories

Nomarfan or something.

I also miss the early days of nsbb. I feel like old balls now....

If things go like we hope they do for the big club in the next year or two, a lot of people are going to start coming back out of the woodwork, I think. I'm curious to see just who returns. Still, hard to believe it's been 11 years.

Still remember when JC came into the game thread out of nowhere for Rizzo's debut.

A tough one to handicap would be whether Jon or Chocolate Milk would be more likely to come back.

That one and done post (or were there two?) is the reason I think it would be a tough call.

I thought he was dead before that.

Holy [expletive]...that was so fast I'd missed it.

It was two posts. Weird.

Kyle Hendricks will start Tuesday for #Cubs. Renteria did not say who will be 5th starter

Is he even on the 40 man?

The dude who faked his death? I haven't checked, but I doubt it.

Between that and Neuby randomly posting about Javy's position change in the Schwarber thread, wtf is going on

I was just doing some reminiscing, Alfonso Soriano put up an OPS in excess of .818 in 4 out of his 6 full seasons as a cub.

Coghlan / Mueller the Miracle Worker Watch:

.275 / .353 / .471 .823 124 OPS+ (175 PA's)

And Ruggiano: .287 /.358 /.446 .804 119 OPS+ (176 PA's)

That's all sorts of depressing.

That's all sorts of depressing.
