I'm not sold Michigan State will go unscatched with early entries (maybe more Payne than Harris, though). If they do, I'll put Kentucky No. 1 and Michigan State No. 2.

Isn't Harris having some sort of shoulder surgery?

Possibly. I think he'll end up staying at Michigan State; though the shoulder injury isn't preventative of leaving early.

Louisville up there too, but only if Russ Smith stays. Ken Pom's #1 player this year.

Boy, he has to go doesn't he? His stock can't get much higher.

I disagree. I think he ought to stay and prove he can actually be an efficient and be a true point guard. I think that by taking over for Siva and improving his shot selection and efficiency he could make a lot of progress up the draft board. I think he's a round 2 guy at this point.

I am not convinced either...but all indication at this point from what I have read is that they are both staying. It is not as big of a story as Michigans possible early entries so it is hard to get a real good read on it at this point though from the mainstream media in Michigan. I think as long as both do not go, then MSU will be a top 5 team. If they both go...well

Well if hes a round two guy now I guess he could move up. I thought he would be a first round guy though.

Yeah, I also think Russ Smith is a round 2 guy. Given his age (22 by draft day), you gotta think he'll go pro.

I think he ought to stay and prove he . . . be a true point guard.

I don't believe that will ever happen. For the most part, "point guard" is an innate skill; it's not as simple as "dribble better" or "pass more."

Gary Harris could end up 2nd Team All-American or better next year.

Most definitely. He was really good this year, but slowed by injuries. He never really showed the athleticism level he possesses; offensively he was mainly a big shooter. He's much more diverse than that.

I was disappointed Harris didn't show more explosiveness this year. Didn't realize he had injury issues. They'll be #1 if everyone stays.

Trey Burke to announce his "decision" on Sunday. I'm guessing the rest of the UM guys won't accounce their decisions until Burke makes it official.

Rumors true: Remy Abell transferring. IU is down to one player that can even remotely be called a ball-handler (and I don't mean one point guard, I mean one ball-handler)..

Which probably means Crean isn't done recruiting 13' right?

It opens up a 6th scholarship in '14 too
